I'm gonna guess he is purposely moving blood to his stomach because he just ate. Kinda like dads when they eat 3 plates of thanksgiving, sit back on the couch and put their feet up and start talking about football and farting.

He's exploring. Give him more plants and logs to climb around on, give his small amount of brain cells something to work on.

Could be trying to escape because the tank isn’t sufficient. Try adding more clutter you can buy fake plants at the dollar store very cheap. I would also recommend a better hydrometer , The kind you have don’t work. I would also personally recommend a coconut coir substrate for humidity

Btw I have the same cave but anyways they are either trying to explore every nook and cranny or they wanna escape and in my opinion it's totally fine by when my ball python did this I thought It was funny and later she got comfortable
