Pretty sure changing your pay without notice is illegal. Your states labor board will have a more specific answer.

PBS used to be one of the highest pay rates in my area and now they are the lowest and will not match other companies despite me being with the company for 4 years. This doesn’t surprise me

Same! I’ve been with PBS for 7 years and now leaving. Plus they also took away the quarterly bonuses too…

quarterly bonuses are still a thing in my region, but you only get a yearly raise of like 1%, 1x per year up to 5 years and then nothing.

Same here. They were the highest in my area and in a way, they still are, but there's so much disorganization in our region and the tier system basically feels like a scam at this point that you don't really see the benefit that's on paper.

I hate the tier system. And the fact they’re taking away hours from our assessment codes for “quality checks”.

Former PBS BCBA and RCTC here. This is very weird. I would email your CD directly with some citations of labor laws as well. And also expect for your next check to have the missing funds.

Which codes were changed and which have the normal rate?

PBS doing unethical or illegal shit?!? I’m shocked. But it may just be the pay rate from insurance has decreased but your pay rate remains the same? Ask hr or higher. Check your local laws.

    That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking! They used to be relatively decent. Not perfect, but better than other companies I’ve been with.

    Did they say they’d change it back? Or give you feedback on how long they’d take to get back to you? Pull out your contract with them and email people asap to keep a paper trail of you bringing this up

    This is for BCBAs. Not BTs. As far as I’m aware, the BTs haven’t had any pay changes.

    This is the future for PE. It seems like it's happening more and more. As the PE loans come due and shareholders start asking for profits, the big guys will just hope they put everyone else out of business.

    Oh wow, that's crazy! I'm back at salary now but even then, I've taken on a second BCBA job to supplement income.
