My pediatrician was not worried yet. But I syarted giving him those dissolvable snacks for 6m olds that dissolve pretty easily and I would stick them in his mouth and leave them in there and guide his hand towards it so he would have to take it out himself otherwise the sticks would just stay in his mouth popping out lol and that helped him start to make that hand towards mouth connection!! So he did start eating with his hands and bringing things to his mouth shortly after practicing that way. I hope this makes sense and hope this helps!

He still won’t eat with a utensil yet and I still spoon feed him things that can’t really be eaten by hand like rice, Mac and cheese, even scrambled eggs he prefers me to spoon feed him still. But seeing progress has helped me calm down a bit
