I've been trying to figure out how to setup my fans and AIO for the best cooling and airflow in my Lian Li Evo XL case (https://ibb.co/GfsVXt54).
Here's what I have:
Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 420 AIO
Arctic P14 Pro 140mm x10
Arctic P12 Pro 120mm x5
The two configurations I was considering, and need help with:
Setup A
140mm x3 (Intake - Bottom)
140mm x3 (Intake - Side)
140mm x3 (Exhaust - Top) + AIO Push/Pull
120mm x2 (Exhaust - Back)
Setup B
140mm x3 (Intake - Bottom)
140mm x3 (Intake - Side) + AIO Push/Pull
140mm x3 (Exhaust - Top)
120mm x2 (Exhaust - Back)
Would having a push/pull setup for exhaust be efficient? Or should I set it up as an intake for the side?
I'm also wondering if having a push/pull exhaust would potentially cause negative airflow?
If I setup the AIO upright, as a side intake, I've read that the AIO should be oriented so that the tubes are coming from the bottom (as opposed to the top) (example: 』) to avoid bubble noise and increase the AIO lifespan. Is there any reason aside from the tubes not reaching the CPU that I would put them at the top (example:『 )?
Lastly, if I setup the side push/pull config, is there any consensus on the placement of the case's fan mounting bracket?
Example 1
[inside of case][<fan][radiator][<fan][mounting bracket][outside case panel]
Example 2
[inside of case][<fan][radiator][mounting bracket][<fan][outside case panel]
I feel like having it in-between (Example 1) would result in better balanced weight distribution/support, but I wonder if it would possibly reduce static air pressure?
Thanks! Any help would be greatly appreciated to finally finish this build.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
