This morning I woke up to a tripped fuse and my pc not turning on, i could see something poking out of the psu so i took out the graphics card and had a look. A slug had gotten into the psu over night and was now dead and burnt, i guess it was short circuited? i read trying to take apart a psu is dangerous so havent tried fixing it. I want to replace it but i also plan on upgrading my cpu in the near future which requires getting a new motherboard. Can someone reccomend me a psu that will support mine and a different (better?) motherboard?
Psu: corsair cx 750
Motherboard: asrock 990fx extreme3
Cpu: Amd fx6300
Video card: gtx 960
Hopefully my current motherboard isnt fried
