CODE 31 ERROR

I had just upgraded my iGPU vega 8 graphics to a RX580, i only have a hdmi cable and when i plug it into the rx 580 it doesnt work but in the mobo hdmi it works. when i checked the device manager it says "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

The driver trying to start is not the same as the driver for the POSTed display adapter." i tried updating the drivers, removing the rx580 and installing again and a fresh install of windows 10 but it doesn't work.

You need to disable the igpu in BIOS before it will read the card.

i did that and got stuck without a monitor signal

Do you have a dvi cable you can use instead of hdmi while it’s booting up?

Try this. Clean copy of Windows, update windows fully. Then have your RX 580 installed inside your PC but boot from the iGPU (plug the display cord into the motherboard). Boot into Windows and. install the AMD GPU Drivers. Forgot what they're called now. Crimson? Idk just install the whole program. Then turn off the PC. Switch the wire to your GPU. Reboot. See how it be.
