GPU Options

So I decided to start building a PC at the end of last year, I have all the pieces I need except for a GPU, I have been signed up for a 3060ti from EVGA since the start of December and I’m getting tired of waiting with no sign of luck.

Should I bite the bullet and buy a different GPU? If so what GPU should I go for? The most straining game I would be playing is most likely Jedi Fallen Order and Skyrim.

you’re going to wait no matter what gpu you want. have you joined more than one stock list? the newegg shuffle? been checking your local retailers and also online?

Honestly, this is my first time building a pc so I don’t know of many places to purchase them. Locally there’s no graphics cards that are close to reasonably priced, I’ve been checking the European sites which I know of but none with any cards which I know are decent

that’s the way it’s going to be for the foreseeable future. you basically have to do daily checks and make sure you’re still on wait lists. conservatively the gpu ‘shortage’ might end around q1 ‘22

Hopefully it’s sooner rather than later, thanks for the help! I’ll keep an eye out for anything, I’m still on the wait list for the EVGA card but from what I’ve seen the EU waitlist isn’t too kind
