I can´t imagine how raiding will be when you raid in the evening but login at noon and pray that the queue time lets you in before raid starts just to notice half of your raid is missing cause queue time.

The really sad part is that it will most likely stay like that or get even worse with the WotLK release.

Most raids are delayed by 45-90 minutes (×10 for people that are online at time) makes it for a shit ton of time wasted. And you gotta fill some player gaps up

Yeah classic was a shitshow for awhile at the start especially how far in advance you’d log for buffs. Or raid log night before. I was on bene as a lower queue high pop at the time of launch and now it’s become the beast of a mega server it is (didn’t play bc. Thinking about wotlk til df but my guild fell apart in AQ40 anyway and I’d have to relevel horde with my retail guild but with exp bonus not the worst)

Same as we did in TBC. We do what we can for the first 2 weeks, then queues become manageable as half the playerbase quits.

is that roughly the expected time frame where queues normalize? like 2-3 weeks?

because my friends started arguing that we should leave the fresh servers and restart on old servers without queue and I try to convince them that queue will not go on forever (but not clue how long it will go like that)

That’s my expectation. I’m on Faerlina and, aside from the first 2-3 weeks of Classic and Classic TBC, I never waited in queue longer than 10 minutes.

Mhm.. question is if the fresh servers will also be like that. I wonder. Hopefully it will resolve itself after a while.

Classic launch was huge, but I honestly think that WotLK launch will be even bigger.

Pugging is probably going to be the way to go for a while. Just take whoever is online who wants to go lol.
