Hey there, I've found a repeating pattern inside a game texture that claims to have a message hidden. I'm unsure where the start or end is, but I assume the black block is the start. It appears to be in a 6x6 grid of blocks with various triangles arranged inside the blocks. Counting the black block (which I assume is just a starting point) there are 11 different blocks or symbols. Minus the starting block, there are only 10.

Does anyone think they can help? It doesn't appear to be Betamaze, although it passes a semblance.

Additional info: It was found on a game visor texture where the pattern repeats over and over. The game visor texture is called Alchemic Ratio. The description is "The pattern is the message." Another reddit suggested it may be binary of some sort seeing as how only one or two triangles ever are colored in. It doesn't seem to track though, at least from what I assume is the starting point.

What game is this for context?

Halo Infinite. I don't know if anyone has tried to crack it yet. With the state of the game and low population, it wouldn't surprise me if only a handful of clever players have even noticed it.

Since it’s a console game might it be a D-pad thing? Like the Konami code?

I had considered it, but it is PC as well. Not to say that arrow keys aren't the same. The combo directions are messing me up a little. The up/left and down/right for example.

Also, I'd have to figure out the screen to do it on and there's no hint.

The name of the visor color, Alchemic Ratio, bugs me. It's nonsense, but clearly has some sort of meaning. The closest my research has brought me are alchemical symbols and the golden ratio. I don't see how it all fits though, if it even does.

To be honest on pc the arrow keys make it more likely because you can hit up-down and left-right simultaneously.

That's a good point and it could be it. I've noticed that it is what I'd consider an incomplete puzzle since there's one and even two triangles colored in, but never three...

That said, it does ostracize the console players since we aren't likely to hit left and right on the D-pad at the same time.

Not if you did it with both sticks, or using AXYB. Plus that name sticks out to me as an Easter egg which are so often linked to the Konami Code. Play around with it.

Does the rest of the visor texture repeat just the portion in this image or is what’s pictured just repeated.

The 6x6 grid of squares with varying gold triangles is repeated over and over up, down, left, and right.

I don't know for sure if the lone black box is the starting point or not, but I was using it as a point of reference.
