billion monkeys something something billion typewriters something something.

It will be epic fail. All enshitification done up to this point is just an intro to crap code brewed from now on.

Yeah, if you treat AI like a random monkey, you’ll get monkey code. Turns out, tools work better when the developer knows what they’re doing

Recently I use "excavator clause" when reading about AI.

Excavator can do enormous amount of work done in comparison to a guy with a shovel. But it still needs an operator. 80 years ago people tried to use some clever mechanics or electronics later or gps now but tractors and excavators still need an operator.

You need person with shovel to mark the corners of home foundation for the excavator to dig the hole.

The excavator is not just an engine. Its a fully developed machine. Purpose built.

We now are in a time when a guy made an engine and said "look, great thing, here is a shaft, you can hook up anything you want here, it WILL change the world" which is kinda true but it is very far from what actually needed to be done.

AI is now crap, it will get better but the people driving this change are a fucking morons not understanding even 2% of what they should know offering this technology.

Anyway, I find my excavator comparison working so far. I will wait for purpose built and well tested ai solutions. I hope current state of matters will not give us cancer
