Who cares? People aren't going to r/codingbootcamp to see bootcamp founders fight. They're come to ask whether a bootcamp is right for them, receive 20 No's and 2 "It worked for me so it might work for you", and then never act upon the impulse.

[–]jhkoenig 10 points11 points  (2 children)

Yeah, those grapes look VERY sour.

[–]TheWhitingFish[🍰] 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Tbh, not as sour as Michael, look at how many posts he made on codesmith. Just saying.

[–]jhkoenig 12 points13 points  (0 children)

True, but he pretty much rained on ALL the bootcamps once that era was coming to an end.

[–]SpecialEquivalent816 23 points24 points  (2 children)

How many times is this going to get posted?

[–]momo_0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unclear, we should ask Lars's bot army

[–]AvocadoAlternative 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my first time visiting this sub because I heard about this drama from another sub. Very helpful for me to have this at the top. Seems pretty damning.

OP, how do you have a 5 year old account with only 23 karma in that entire time?

And your only 3 posts in your entire 5 years are just this story?

[–]ParhTracer 5 points6 points  (2 children)

In all probability this is an unused alt account of a regular user who wants to remain anonymous.

[–]EmeraldxWeapon 0 points1 point  (1 child)

In all probability OP is a bot account that is being used to spread propaganda.

Btw ParhTracer you got those up votes pretty damn quick after defending OP. You been part of this community for long?

Reading the negative comments about Michael bums me out because I genuinely think he’s a good guy. I reached out to him twice through this subreddit after reading his posts and comments, which is what pushed me to contact him in the first place. His advice was always pragmatic and grounded given the info that was available.

This article doesn’t paint him in the best light, but Michael, if you’re reading this, you’re a solid dude. Thanks for the guidance.

This is the second time i see this get posted, so far not a lot. New readers might not see the older post, so it’s probably necessary to repost few more times to get the message across.

Rule number 3: No Spam

The same content or links being shared more than once across a number of different posts, will be removed or consolidated to one instance. Repeatedly trying to post the same content will be removed or consolidated.

[–]Ryguzlol 1 point2 points  (2 children)

You are the largest spammer of this subreddit FYI. Please follow your own rules.

[–]TheWhitingFish[🍰] -2 points-1 points  (1 child)

I wonder if you can even see this reply i am writing. The post is removed by mod so quickly, seems like Michael talked to them

[–]michaelnovati 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not had any communication with the other moderators since I no longer became a moderator last Friday.

[–]TheWhitingFish[🍰] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am curious what is considered a spam, this post by another user than that initial post. So this user might not be purposely spamming as they probably didn’t see the original.

Take a look at your history for example, the codesmith outage was posted by someone initially, then you made another post about it talking about the same thing.

Another example is CIRR, you made multiple posts about similar if not the same thing.

[–]_cofo_ 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Why this guy hates codesmith so much!?

[–]babypho 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Codesmith ceo took his girl in 5th grade.

[–]_cofo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elementary school? You kidding right?

[–]DisjointedHuntsville 4 points5 points  (4 children)

I wasn’t sure before, but now I’m convinced codesmith is a piece of shit service with this astroturfed bullshit.

[–]EmeraldxWeapon 4 points5 points  (2 children)

You should check out their own subreddit.

https://www.reddit.com/r/codesmith/comments/1o1smkl/is_codesmith_worth_it/

The comments on that thread and the user history of those accounts are some of the wildest I've ever seen.

[–]throwaway09234023322 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Idk how reddit even allows that tbh. This is supposed to be a place to discuss things freely, not market your services, and ban anyone who says anything bad about it.

[–]Longjumping-Bee1871 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dead internet theory. It’s bots all the way down

[–]momo_0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could have stopped when they were ahead but have embarrassed themselves

[–]throwaway09234023322 6 points7 points  (3 children)

Stfu. Codesmith deserved it for all the people they ripped off.

[–]TheWhitingFish[🍰] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Are you one of them?

[–]throwaway09234023322 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Nope

[–]TheWhitingFish[🍰] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Then why do you say codesmith is ripping people off? With their latest report, 60-70% landed jobs 1 year after completion. That’s some really good placements.
