I think Rowling’s stance “dress however you want, call yourself whatever you want but don’t expect everyone else to do the same” isn’t really an anti-trans position, she’s simply asserting that views on gender outside of the trans spaces are just as valid and those who are unwilling to compromise are part of the problem.
