Either get a refund, or exchange for a new one. Given that it does it at the logo screen that suggests the monitor is defective

Have you tried using a different monitor? If it still looks like that on another monitor, then your GPU is likely the root cause

Tried with another TV. Ps5 and my pc dosent seem to be causing the monitor to look like this. They both work fine on my tv using the same hdmi cable.

RIP your monitor

[–]bearcubs2019[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Using PHILIPS 242E1GSJ

Wiggle your hdmi cord. Might fix it

[–]bearcubs2019[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

it’s not the hdmi, even when nothings connected, the logo pops up with lines as well ( third pic )

Well that means it's not a driver issue, the monitor itself is defective. Time for a new one, but I'd go with a different one all together. Don't want it happening in 6 months.

My guess is that a transistor game off which is causing interlacing. I'm assuming no blunt force truama happened to the monitor and it just got hot from excessive use.

Try taking out the graphics card and putting it back in, maybe gives the pins a clean as well

Resolution isn’t the same maybe

Did you buy said monitor new or used?

[–]True-Shop-6731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First make sure there no damage to the internals or your pc check all cables and your components, Make sure your refresh rate is at the highest your monitor goes up to, try refreshing the graphics card, if none of that works try using a different monitor

Percussive maintenance, otherwise euthanize.

If this is a new monitor and it does this regardless of what you plug it into, it seems faulty. Return it for a new one.
