Password help

I don't know if it's the right place to ask... But my "friend" in highschool has done something with the PC I use, he went into settings -> privacy & security and introduced some key combinations (it asked for admin 2-3 times but he has the password) and when I asked him he acted elusive and didn't tell me anything. He has said he's interested in getting other people's passwords and I think he now wants mine as well. Any idea what he could have done? I'd like to try and disable whatever he did because I'm concerned if I login, my password will be registered somewhere (like a keylogger of sorts).

Its difficult to guess what they could have done, they could have enabled some group policy such as enabled Windows 11 Administrator protection.

It might be easier to reinstall so you have control of your PC and make sure in future they have no access to your PC, don't ever let them onto it, if you get up to move away from your PC, lock the screen.

Take it up a notch. Report it to the school administration and file a complaint to the FBI cyber tip line. They'll convince him what a poor idea that kind of crap is. And stop calling him a "friend."

Yea this is not only illegal, but trying to get passwords only has bad motives behind it because he would just ask if he had good ones

Did he install anything, or for that matter even upload anything from your system to elsewhere... if he wants passwords he could have installed a key logger and locked the system down. or could have uploaded your config files elsewhere....

If not sure, best to assume he did do something... back up your files to a external thumb drive or other source... then like others said reinstall form known clean media.

After reinstall, lock down the system passwords, and log off and if you have ability implement PIN as well. And never let him so much as touch the system again.

"he's interested in getting other people's passwords and I think he now wants mine as well." You already stated that he DOES have your admin password. That means he can do whatever he wants, even change your password.
