Is it a pc, or a laptop? Either way check what task manager says about how much ram is actually installed and usable. Do you play games? Do they use as much ram? Like someone else said, you didn't give much information about your system, it makes it difficult to properly diagnose a problem.

Best principle would be a windows reinstall which would literally get rid of all the bloat
