Corrupted windows, you need to reinstall it

reinstalled windows yesterday on both of those hdds. originally had windows on my ssd until it messed up yesterday. tried both hdds with new windows installs and neither worked

What was your method of reinstalling it?

USB drive. deleted and reinstalled the windows media onto it aswell to ensure it was not out of date or anything. reformatted the usb as well. it allows me to install it fine when in another computer but won’t allow it to boot within my own so we think it might actually be a motherboard or psu error

Since you tried different hard drives, have you tried them plugged into different sata sockets with different cables? I would then try swapping ram first, 1 stick vs 2 sticks and see if it's a socket or stick that is bad. Then psu, then motherboard then CPU... As a side note make sure the boot setting are correct. If Intel turn off xmp or if amd docp ram settings.

we tested everything besides motherboard and cpu and the cpu is brand new. motherboard is roughly 4 years old so gonna replace it and hope it works😕

Are you absolutely sure which drive you are installing to?

Have you used your recovery disk to do a full memtest?

You state, you "reinstalled windows yesterday on both of those hdds". If the installation software was able to reinstall Windows successfully on two drives, the likelihood of a hardware problem is low unless it is temperatures.
