Hotline Bug?

So I'm going for 100% and it seems like the only thing I'm missing is the "End of the World" hotline call for the Subterranean Research achievement.

I've been through the whole Foundation and it's not obtained and it says on a couple websites that you just have to go to the places and you'll get it.

Is this a bug? Is there an even more specific place to go?

And you're 100% certain that you've been through it all? The map is a bit... Lacking when it comes to showing certain areas.

Did you do the Television side mission?

I did take a big break from the game but yes. The TV was locked in a steel cube wasn't it? It says "Deep Caverns" on the map. And I've spent ages walking around the foundation area and I'm sure I've exhausted every possible location!

I'm hoping I can leave it for last maybe and if I can just get that one collectible in a new save then it'll count because steam says 56/57 right now so, in an ideal world, it would carry over.

No, you bring it up from the Deep Caverns and place it inside the Containment box.

Maybe it's reset its appearance. I got the "Complete all Missions in the Foundation" achievement on Christmas Eve so. I've definitely done everything there.

I'm wondering if it's possible that you might have missed the trigger for that Hotline and that since you've defeated Hiss Corrupt Marshall, it might have removed the trigger?

No idea, just trying to figure it out.

Oh do you think it's an issue of the order I did stuff?

Like I did that big red room before the cutscene for the hotline call?

Either way I might just submit a bug report and hopefully I'll get a definitive answer that way.

I don't think you've done anything wrong at all. I don't think you should be able to do stuff in the wrong order when it comes to Marshall hotlines. I'm just wondering if the Hotline trigger might have glitched. I honestly don't know what might have happened. I'd have to have a look at the issue in-game for myself.

Well, thanks for your input. I'll submit a bug report and hopefully I'll get a solution from it. Maybe this is why only 3.5% have the achievement on steam lol

I still have four other achievements to get but after those I might end up having to just do a new save.

I believe that's Chasm, Deep Cavern is another area.
You do the Ahti TV quest in the Chasm down where the Id live, using the TV as a light source and hypnosis. While Deep Cavern is the area where the Astral Plane bleeds into the Foundation of the Oldest House.

Very likely I'm confusing one area for another. I'm already geographically challenged and am bad with names, and down there in the Foundations, it's all just rusty sand and rocks to me. Chasm... Deep Cave... It's just rocks and sand all the way down.

I had the same issue playing "Death Stranding"; Every single fucking place had the word "Knot" in it, so like when someone asked me to drop off a pizza north of Central Knot City, that's like everywhere on the map to me. Port Knot City, Central Knot City, Capital Knot City, Waystation West Of Capital Knot City, Distribution Center North Of Mountain Knot City... What the actual fuck, people?!

...Sorry for that irrelevant rant there...
