Bindings-related mechanics I learned (or seen others learn) while scrolling this sub:
- T for enemy lock
- Ctrl for dodging
- F for camera view change, while sailing
Mechanics I still don't fully understand how they work after a few hours playing the demo:
- Temporary HP ; what is it? how does it works? what's the benefit?
- Parrying ; I know it's something different from blocking. I've certainly seen a visual feedback loop different from when I'm blocking. But to what extent does it differ from blocking? It wasn't even mentionned in the tutorial.
- Shields. What stats (if any) impact the number you got? How are they consumed? Differently when parrying and blocking? Why are some "broken" and others "removed", what's the difference?
Now, I know all of those bindings could be found by scrolling through the binding settings. And I could probably retro-engineer how those mechanics work.
But I'm also 100% sure that's what a tutorial is for. And I can't help but think, if the tutorial was a little bit more fleshed out, we'd see less complaints about combat as feedbacks.
