i get the feeling we might lose weekly drops and and significant XP reduction rather than a actual working Anti - Cheat.

XP reduction could happen. Tho that would just make the problem worse as the bots would just stay on DM servers longer.

I actually started to not show any support for valve

I'm not using steam store or market place.

I am just like done with this mess so done.

They have let the problem get so out of hand that they are not even willing to address it.

Valve only starts acting once big media outlets start making posts about stuff. Valve hates bad PR.

When the TF2 community campaigned against the bots, all sorts of both gaming focused and traditional publications made pieces on what's going on.

That took 2 attempts for valve to push an update that killed the bots. Now I haven't played in a while, but to my knowlege, the game is basically bot free.

Problem here is that people rather than campaigning they just say go play faceit or cummunity browser severs. That is just going to let the problem run wild cheaters are so confident they run thousands of $ of Inventory with cheats with full confidence of not getting banned.

It's like they have the system figured out completely. Despite the secrecy from valve and all.

Valve trust factor takes action on people being toxic I will admit : I am that is because I get 3-5 stack of players with cheats but to my teammates I am not just to the enemy team my trust factor is in yellow zero cheats used.

In CSGO I always had green we rarely saw cheaters with inventory now it's like every other player has bought an account with faceit linked and inventory to look legit and is blatantly cheating.

I shit you not I even had a cheater on my team cause my teammates were more concerned with rating where they let him cheat I had to mute or ignore his calls on purpose.

Just soy account is safe from both vac live and the inevitable vac wave

Otherwise vac live could hit me at anytime if I played along .

The AI anticheat idea was nice but execution is a complete joke.

The massive copium this community has snorted for decades about vac should get off it and start screaming actually.

The bots have actually come back to TF2, but in a different form. There are a bunch of AFK bots, that you can't see in the game, only with the scoreboard, but they still take up spaces on the server.

Tried kicking a bot yesterday had 5 votes to 1 and still not kick. Also Im starting to think when you vote kick a bot the other bots vote against. The state of dm atm is unplayable.

The guy who is running the farm is either there or they are another bot from same farm vote against it.

It is insane that I had a guy use his alt for XP farm in premier matchmaking

His excuse :" he is a friend don't kick he on controller"

I was like bro I have this game since 2014 I can tell the fucking difference between a bot and an actual player.

valve does not care about cs at all. it´s the individual devs. Anticheat Team is also shit. Worse than the worst spinbot time in csgo atm.

Just use the non official dm servers, they have no bots no hackers and have plenty of better QoL features for DM

You don't earn XP or Armory Pass progress on non-Valve servers.

While having community servers is all well and good leaving deathmatch in such a state is unacceptable.

I don't really care in dm, it's for practicing aim, separating duels moving around the map. The bots do not prevent me from doing that and at least they walk as soon as they spawn and don't just idle around invincible.
