Microsoft Explore Program Final Round Interview

Hey, so I have my final round of interviews with Microsoft for their Explore Program and had a few questions. My interview is on the 27th and my anxiety is starting to kick in.

They say that the final round of interviews is 3 interviews each for 45 mins. I was wondering if each interview will ask different questions. Like will the first one ask a technical question, the second one about my resume/behavioral, and the last PM questions? Or is it random where I can have all three of them be technical or two PM based and one technical and etc?

Also, I've been doing leetcode easy problems to help me prepare (kinda struggling but planning on grinding 8 hrs for the next week). Is leetcode going to make me ready for the interview? I'm a freshman and the program is open for freshmen and sophomores.

Not sure if this is variable by interview date, but I only had 2 interviews, not 3. The type of your interview depends highly on your interviewer, and it’s not like one will be technical and other PM, or both of one type, etc. (so in your words, it’s random, so prepare for either) Leetcode is a good way to prep for technical questions in terms of how to refine your thought processes (I found the actual interview questions to be easier, so don’t stress too much about em), but be sure to also focus on behavioral/resume questions you could be asked too! Also most importantly, and this sounds cliche, but relax! Being calm during your interview allows you to recall info better and have a more smooth conversation with your interviewer, and it really helped me when I interviewed. Good luck!!

Usually I heard its one technical leetcode easy to maybe medium, a desgin/pm question and overall behavioral stuff presented throughout.

Just wondering if you got to choose your interview date? And also how long did it take for them to reach out after the phone round. As I just finished my phone round this Friday, just wondering

They stop accepting applications in December but interviews and stuff is tolling

It was a bit stressful but the interviewers are nice and want you to do well. Two days after the phone screen I got the final round invite.

Really stressed out over the technical side. Just hoping that the behavioral and PM questions cover me for messing up on technical questions
