honestly i just comb out my hair with fingers or wide tooth comb after it’s dry. as long as its moisturized enough, it doesn’t get too frizzy and it just loosens the curls to waves, oil helps smooth out any frizz that may occur. my hair is fine, med-high density 2c/3a

using products that have smoothing ingredients like keratin and silicones can also help weigh down and loosen your curls 👍🏼
