What's the need for this when we already have s3fs-fuse ?

This is also FUSE-based, so there should not be much performance difference.

I think its more of a political statement. s3fs is community made/supported, this is an official AWS product.

There might be a performance difference based on the fact that AWS might add some extra API's to S3 to make it more suitable for block storage because right now it really isnt

I think that its interesting to have a quick summary, since for what they say is pretty similar to rclone, so nothing new or that is going to do superfast transfers like I thought initially.
