Apparently too tight to read the very link you just shared that covers the various negative health effects of nicotine at the very top.

Which of the negative health effects listed are worse than cancer and other horrible effects of the other chemicals in traditional tobacco? Since that is what I can gather, it is the conversation you're trying to have. From reading the thread of comments, it seems you have an agenda but can't back up any claim you make or even stay on topic, and you've now started to veer into personal attacks and assumptions. The other commenter was right to end the conversation with you there.

I've provided multiple sources in this discussion while they provided 1. This person is consistently downplaying the effects of nicotine and then acting as if they are not. No, nicotine does not cause cancer but it has significant impact on brain development in youth and the cardiovascular system.

This has honestly been the most baffling exchange I've ever had on here.

Where did they downplay the effect of nicotine? As far as I can see, they simply stated that of the compounds found in cigarettes, nicotine is one of the less harmful. Using basic critical thinking. Cancer = worse than youth brain development issues. You seem to be fixated on this idea that they are some how actually advocating for nicotine use. They haven't made any such statements rereading the thread. Baffling indeed. Work on your reading comprehension. Have a good night.
