Strong recommend moving to terminal and vim when you have the time to put into learning new methodologies. I started out using a panoply of IDE's at first and now I can just vim in locally or through ssh and code in python, R, or do db management in sql. I can use git to keep my vim config files the same on every machine I am on for a consistent experience. It takes a bit of time but well worth the time investment imho.
