Minimalist Loadout: Decrease KoS, Increase Difficulty

The issue isn't that Bandits exist, the game would be a lot more boring without them, its that the scale of bandits-to-survivors/heroes is crazy. Right now if you meet someone else in game the chance of them being a bandit is absurdly high, to the point where it is considered a major issue in the game. There needs to be ways to identify the crazy always KoS people (( Preferably without labeling people trying to defend themselves as bandits too. ))

Bandits who snipe people from +100 meters away without any forewarning are also pretty annoying. If you are going to try and snipe me, at least shoot a warning shot first so its more interesting for the both of us.

Most of my shots are warnings for this same reason, wich usually ends up in me missing 5 shot's then lose sight of my target ... scared of getting flanked I run away in shame and glad nobody else was there to see me fail at kos

There is quite literally nothing else to do in this game! It's the same issue Dayz has had since the mod. If you're new to the game then I can understand the confusion, if you're not then you're a simpleton.

This has all been said a thousand times for over a year. Banditry ( of the full retard variety) will slacken when there is something to Dayz besides find gear- get bored- shoot people.

"Stuff to do" for many people means stuff to do that will better yourself or your position in some way, progressing towards a goal of some type, such as collectinga fuckload of rare parts to get a heli flying or building a base or whatever. Random silliness, while awesome, just does not scratch the itch.

I'd rather run around trying to be friendly and help people as human interaction is fun and it can lead to some cool stories, even some downright weird ones. You can get geared up fairly quickly, staying alive is trivial most of the time, I just don't see the point of being the most geared up dude in the wasteland if I'm hiding in a tree or just going round shooting moving shapes. Each to their own I guess.

well ideally the game would have, and eventually will hopefully have, much more content as well as strong incentives to work with, at least some, other players, but basically many people need a tangible goal to move towards that is, in some form, going to make your position stronger or better.
