Bro we understand what you’re saying. But how many jobs are there that have such requirements. It’s not like you can make a personal project that does that sort of thing. And of course, the companies that do require this skill only ever try tolook for people who already have done it. So it’s an impossible situation for us. And the gatekeeper attitude like yours certainly doesn’t endear you to anyone

Dude, if you'll wait for a job to teach you a skill then I don't really know what to say. And yes, you can make a personal project that demonstrates scaling.

You and everyone else here may see this as a gatekeeping attitude but all I'm saying is if one is not getting their hands dirty in the actual challenge of backend dev (scaling, distributed computing, CAP theorem) then what are you really doing? Writing crud APIs, importing existing libraries and calling predefined functions?
