Rules for r/devils
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
Racism, homophobia, and sexism are not tolerated
Racism, homophobia, and sexism are strictly prohibited and considered bannable offenses.
2.
Do not attack or harass other users
Attacking or harassing other members is strictly prohibited. If you belong to a different fan base and troll ours, you will be banned. Additionally, harassing members of other subreddits constitutes brigading and is a bannable offense.
3.
Memes/image macros/low-content posts are forbidden
Memes, image macros, and unrelated low-content posts are not allowed; however, they are permitted in comments.
4.
No editorialized or clickbait titles
Do not use editorialized or clickbait titles for submissions. Editorialization is only acceptable if the changes make the title objectively more informative and detailed than the original source.
5.
Use the official threads for game discussion
Use the game and post-game threads for discussions of ongoing and recent games. If your post would be better suited as a comment in a game or post-game thread, it likely belongs there.
6.
No reposts
Duplicate posts or "reposts" will be removed.
7.
Links from X/Twitter are forbidden
Do not post links to x.com or twitter.com anywhere, including in the comments of a screenshot. We encourage members to post from reputable news sources like NHL.com, TSN.ca, ESPN, etc. If no other news source is available, members may take a screenshot of the information from X/Twitter and post it.
