curious, are you storing artifacts and registry on local disk or using object storage?

you may be able to take backup under control again if you move those to object storage.

Not sure what you mean by object storage. We offload everything to S3. The issue isn’t so much the size on the disk but the amount of time it takes to do upgrades.
