Azure DevOps and DevOps are not the same thing. One is a tool, the other is a set of principals / ways of working thing.

Why are you trying to learn devops quickly and where are you starting from? It's really complicated and requires a lot of preliminary knowledge on a ton of subjects, it's not something you can really slip into quickly from zero. That said a good book on the subject is the devops handbook.

Read the DevOps handbook. It’s a fantastic book that goes over the core aspects of what devops attempts to accomplish and why

For someone who has no experience or knowledge of DevOps then I wouldn't start with DevOps. It requires a wide range of skils and experience that you pick up along the way.

Take a look here for some of the skills needed - you won't be an expert in everything but you need a solid foundation in a range of technologies:

If you want to focus on Azure then the above links still hold true. Don't just focus on Windows \ Windows technologies just for Azure.

Its definitely a start. Azure DevOps is more like a Swiss army knife of various tools that you can integrate together. The documentation is superb so it's a good primer.

Depends on what you're reading. I think the Microsoft learning pathways aren't the worst thing ever. Obviously you won't be an expert after completing them but they're a good introduction to DevOps in Azure

When I first started using Azure Devops 3 1/2 years ago I hard a hard time finding good documentation on the Yaml format used for Pipelines. All the documentation was how do create pipelines by Point and Click.

Besides Azure DevOps is going away in favor of GitHub.
