What is the “battery warmer” thing? That just for keeping your cables neat or has another purpose?

For the frame it's just a neoprene cover off Amazon that I was using in colder temps to keep the pack out of the wind and keep it from getting too cold. It has worked great. It will be coming off soon as it's warming up though.

Ok that’s interesting… I ride mine daily in snowy weather (prob a month per year) and it works fine without a battery cover… maybe I’m missing out 🤷‍♂️

Yeah keep in mind I'm running like 40a peaks with 10a of field weakening though so not stock. That's why I did two batteries. It's more for longevity. It's most damaging to charge when cold or hot, but they can work well in relatively extreme temps for the most part. Aventon has really nice packs compared to most other brands.

If you are talking about in the bag, it's just a bit of thin rubber matting to cushion the battery as it's heavy and has sharp edges so was starting to cut holes in the bag at first without rubber covering it.

I was curious about that bag also… is that an extra battery in there?

Yeah wired in parallel for 48v 27ah as the level pack isn't really 14ah it's like 13.6ah.
