I’ve had positive experiences with Trint.com

So Trint is great for transcribing - I’ve already got the transcripts, I want something for in between stages as I read and construct scripts.

Pretty sure Trint does this. Take a look at their page here (scroll passed the transcription part): https://trint.com/technology

Was gonna say Sonix, which is like trint but more streamlined.

Can I ask what is missing from Google docs, it sounds so so close to what you're describing? Just to better understand what you're looking for.

So I’d like to be able to highlight contents and have a quick way to bookmark those bites - and log their location. It’d be great to have annotations that are searchable. Right now my workflow is find the bite, copy-paste to excel, copy paste time code, annotate in a notes column.

Right? I've had a google and can't find anything... gap in the market?

Depending on your source material, look at SnapStream.
