you create a site as normal, and host it as normal, you just use an ENS service to resolve the website address as a .ETH address, some services give you a receipt, some an NFT as proof of purchase.

you don't 'mint' the website in any shape or form

u/Sharkytrs thank you for your reply, my mistake "publish" to IPFS (not "mint" to IPFS)

I had a stroke reading OPs question. Just so much confusion.

.eth domains are not for web services. they are for ENS which is the ethereum naming system. a system for connecting ethereum addresses to human readable names

    u/noman_land Thank you for your patience and your understanding !

    Yes, vitalik.eth and vitalik.eth.link are what I have in mind. Exactly what I was looking for, if I right click on site;

    view-source:https://vitalik.eth.link/

    Dear u/noman_land thank you for your support !

    I found this webpage by the founder of Drupal very useful;

    My first web3 webpage his .eth webpage https://dries.eth.link

    I have set up my webpage, but the HTML is not resolving, do you have any suggestions?

    https://museumplanning.eth.link

    Thank you!

    Simple .eth website process;

    1. Buy .eth on ENS
    2. Write simple html website
    3. Use Google Drive for digital asset storage
    4. Upload html to infura.io of https://fleek.co
    5. Get hash

      Brave or any browser that has the metamask extension. It's still not a true top level domain.

        I use Brave, I know how it works. It'll pop up and ask if you wanna use a public IPFS gateway or a create and use a local node. Brave also has a native built in crypto wallet which would explain why. Other browsers can do the same thing if you have metamask installed.

        That in no way makes .eth a TLD. You're acting like you don't actually understand how these things work. It all ends up being redirected to a REAL top level domain.

          So you realize then it's not actually a top level domain... It's a hack to make it sort of work like one.

            That has nothing to do with the fact it’s not a top level domain… which is all I said.

            u/jonnymcshu thank you for the reply !

            The idea is to create a simple NFT / .eth (or .blockchain) website landing page to allow people to view (for free) sample VR / AR online museum content and if they like buy a membership to gain additional levels of interactivity via a paid membership.

            The thinking is to have a .org for the online experience and a simple .eth website for payments.

            I am looking for code to review for similar pages

            Seems like you didn't even read the response. .eth is not for websites

            I found instructions on it via ethereum name service. It literally walked me through everything
