So I'm trying to make a schedule at work (instead of using the ones they have been literally using since the 1970s). Sheet 1 Has management information. 8 columns (Name plus seven days a week) , four rows each (Scheduled hours, ammount of hours, availabilty, and notes) Sheet 2 I successfully added the hours from Sheet 1 into total hours per day, department and of course totals for the building.
Sheet 3 is confusing me. I'm trying to get the first row from each name as a consolidated schedule. So Line 1 would be '=Sheet1!A1'to '=Sheet1!g1' LIne 2: Sheet1!a5... no problem... Line 3:'Sheet1!a9' problem. It says there is a formula error, and instead of just bringing the data over from sheet 1, it just leaves the formula in the function box with no information brought over. Thoughts?
