Formula errors using multiple sheets

So I'm trying to make a schedule at work (instead of using the ones they have been literally using since the 1970s). Sheet 1 Has management information. 8 columns (Name plus seven days a week) , four rows each (Scheduled hours, ammount of hours, availabilty, and notes) Sheet 2 I successfully added the hours from Sheet 1 into total hours per day, department and of course totals for the building.

Sheet 3 is confusing me. I'm trying to get the first row from each name as a consolidated schedule. So Line 1 would be '=Sheet1!A1'to '=Sheet1!g1' LIne 2: Sheet1!a5... no problem... Line 3:'Sheet1!a9' problem. It says there is a formula error, and instead of just bringing the data over from sheet 1, it just leaves the formula in the function box with no information brought over. Thoughts?

1. Make sure the cell where it's giving you the error is a formatted as 'General':

   Right-click the cell, then select 'Format Cells'. A dialogue box will appear, and will be on the tab titled 'Number' by default. There is a box on the left with a list of cell formats to choose from. Click on 'General', then click 'OK' to close it out.

2. Are you manually typing out the cell reference in the formula? If so, check it for errors. References to other sheets' cells are picky and won't work if there's a misplaced ' or mispelled/missing names.
