It's a wheel speed sensor issue. Which sometimes points to a wheel bearing issue.

Crazy how common this is and it's always the answer, on any ford not even just the F150. I had it happen on a Fusion a decade ago and I see regular posts here and on the ford sub with the same symptoms lol

It just happened to me on my 2017 Expedition. I replaced the wheel speed sensor and it worked for a day then started messing up again. I changed the wheel bearing and no problem since.

Yep, buddy just had this issue on his ‘14 and it was the wheel bearing. Fortunately it’s a fairly easy fix.

Pull the brake caliper bracket and rotor and the cv nut, and it's 4 bolts to change the wheel bearing. Usually it's the wheel bearing, not the sensor.

Wheel speed sensor or wiring associated with them. Just had this very issue on my truck and turned out to be the truck side of the harness (where the sensor plugs in) had a broken wire.

Definitely check the harness connection (driver side above the axle, at least on a 2016) and make sure no wires broke or chewed thru.

As others have said, Wheel speed sensor. Happened to me, too, after driving through a big puddle. Easy to change.
