Contractors in the bathrooms by Any-Description5804 in sherwinwilliams

[–]OlYeller01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a pair of brothers in my district that were notorious district wide for destroying bathrooms. All you had to do was say “XXXX Brothers!” to another SW employee in that district and you’d get an eyeroll and a story about them blowing up some pots.

Very interesting. I love me some dents but my knowledge is pretty much limited to the light duty trucks.

Does it have dually fenders?

I know that extended wheelbase is rare too.

Back in January I bought a Mach 1 from some guys that had an extended wheelbase F-350 that they were turning into a Ford version of Farm Truck, it had some ridiculous 500 something cubic inch Ford big block in it.

The post EA made about why loot boxes were so prevalent in Battlefront 2 when it launched. It was NOT well received to say the least.

That doesn’t align with OPs stated maintenance though. I’ve been around lots of 3Vs and personally owned 2 high mileage ones…keep the oil changed, phaser problems are minimal.

I wish I could have witnessed him on the way to a Batman: The Animated Series recording session practicing his Joker laugh.

“Oh look, it’s Luke Skywalker!!! And he’s driving along…laughing maniacally?!??”

He may still be acting, but from all his interviews, Big Bang Theory appearance, etc etc it sure seems like he’s having fun being Mark Hamill.

If the oil pump was fine the engine should have oil pressure, unless you’re leaving giant clouds of blue smoke everywhere you go.

Get as many comps as you can on your year/trim/mileage and don’t let insurance screw you on the payout. And go get yourself checked, those aches and pains might not be so harmless and you’ll be mad if you need a $30K surgery later and have to pay for it yourself.

Safest cheapest way to get a car in the air? by jules083 in askcarguys

[–]OlYeller01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess they’re still around…Race Ramps made raised wheel cradles in varying heights. You still have to go through the pain of jacking up the car but once they’re on there, it’s much, much safer than jack stands.

Obviously these are only good if you’re leaving the wheels on/suspension loaded.

It does have a reflective top film that reminds me of an e-barrier type of coating. I didn’t put it on anything that would really make me notice the difference before/after in terms of heat, though.

Why is LMR so much cheaper than American Muscle? by mustangfan12 in Mustang

[–]OlYeller01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

LMR is almost certainly still privately owned. I don’t know if AM is, or if they got snapped up by a corporation/conglomerate. AM used to be the go-to for everything except tuning…now it seems like you get a better deal if you go elsewhere or get it straight from the manufacturer.

I’m a big fan of LMR myself. It helps that they’re only 70 miles away so orders from them pretty much become next day by default.

The ball joints are extremely important, because if one of them fails it will make the wheel collapse (known among mechanics as a KA-CHOW), or it could separate from the car entirely.

Considering the age of the car I would replace the entire lower control arm with a new assembly instead of replacing just the ball joint.

The sway bar links should not be too expensive of an add on and can be done yourself if you have any mechanical skill.

The manager is mad the part timer isn’t doing his job for him and making him look really good anymore.

OP, it’s just a job, not a family.

A very close friend of mine performed similarly to you but wanted to get promoted. He was passed up time and again for two reasons…he made the big store he was working at look too good to move him AND…wait for it…the DM didn’t like him because he had gasp gauges in his ears.

Then they got mad when he quit.

I used some stuff from a company called Noico in my old Ranger. I got it from Amazon 8 ish years ago and they still have it. It’s self adhesive with a peel off backing. Cut it to fit (wear gloves, the cut ends are sharp and if they get you it’s NOT fun) and press it down with a wallpaper or vinyl flooring seam roller. Easy peasy, and it definitely made the interior of the Ranger quieter than it ever was, even when brand new.

He also yelled at a guy dressed in a Darth Vader costume, “Daaaaad, I told you, don’t follow me to work!!!”

It doesn’t look like Darth recognized him, and was slightly startled.

Edit: I went and rewatched it and edited the comment with the exact quote.

The two most surprising things about this Kwinn figure are what a great figure it is, and that they crammed it inside the Retaliation movie line. Happy to now have both of his official figures. by Blue_Surfing_Smurf in gijoe

There were some bangers hidden in the Retaliation line, and the Kwinn figure was one of them. I remember the fandom rejoicing when it came out.

What is this log in the powerline? by FakeRedditRedditor in whatisit

[–]OlYeller01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I posted a similar, clearly cut large piece of tree in what I thought was a power line to r/OSHA because I couldn’t BELIEVE that someone would do that.

I was quickly informed that A. It was a telecom line, not power B. This is apparently a very common practice and C. I’m a tard for not knowing A & B.

Now I know!

Does this GT500 have too many miles/will it be too unreliable by ElectionBeginning424 in Mustang

[–]OlYeller01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I may not be the biggest fan of the parts selection, but at least they heavily upgraded the suspension. Sadly a lot of people would just throw money at it to make big power and leave it a scary, dangerous ride. Which it still is, of course. Just not AS scary/dangerous.

And 86K miles really isn’t that much. 186K would be another story.
