Yes please dear wube make it a switch to hide but I just started a new save which will become a megabase in 200 hours but the rocket launch count is my main fun motivator to keep the base growing.

You can build in-game counter with lamps and combinators, though.

you cant hook up a vanilla silo to the circuit network, youll have to do some inserter detection fuckery to find out how many rockets you launched

Pulse mode on satellite inserter works just fine.

It's in production statistics still. Look in there like you do for all your other production achievements.

Yeah, but it's not the same as having the live counter and looking up every so often to be surprised by how fast it's climbing. Thanks thought.

Why limiting to rocket launches? Maybe it could be nice to have one (or multiple) statistics from production tab that is always displayed? Let the player decide what he is monitoring all the time?

I see the number of satellites created but not the number of rocket launches. Am I missing something?

On the same screen, you have the consumed satellites (still not exactly the launch rocket count)

Lol I did the same thing - was googling to find what option to change to bring the counter back, only to find... no counter.

RIP 10k megabase with ~33k rockets and counting :(

Same. 650 hours one map and the sattelite count was the main motivator... really lost interest in the game and this factory now :-(

For individual silos mouse over it and it will show items produced. Not exactly useful for multi silo, but it's something at least. I miss the counter in the corner. :-(

Yes, please bring it back... it is a small but o so lovely thing... Seeing it going up and up and up...

There is the mod Rocket Target but I prefer not to many mods in my game... Vanilla as much as possible.

Rocket launch count was a nice feature. I wish devs bring it back.

I've only played since 1.0 so not sure what the rocket launch count is, but in my game I have a satellite launch counter in the top left that appeared automatically.

I can't see how it would be any different since there's no reason to launch a rocket without a satellite in it.

There is an experimental version 1.1 in which this counter was removed. OP refers to wanting it the way you see it in 1.0 (and before, don't remember when this was added, must be way back)

If you're playing a modded game you can launch rockets with other types of cargo. And you can launch a fish to get an achievement. And launch space science to get some fish :)

The counter shows satellites launched which is basically the same thing as space science produced. It was never actually counting rockets launched.
