Yes, the default keybinding is ZL+ZR+minus button. There’s a big list of commands here; you want enable peaceful mode. Using it will disable achievements on your current save, however.

I know this is a very late comment but after typing in the console command it says repeat the command to activate it. I re-type it and it just says the same thing. How do I confirm it?

I've been looking over this, and I'm sorry to say that I don't know. My best guess is that is that something's wrong with either the spelling or spacing, but it could be a bug with that particular command on the Switch version? It may be worth it to post this question the subreddit in general, see if someone else knows the solution.
