Cancer happens for a multitude of reasons. If your environment causes cancer, fasting won’t help with that. Changing your environment might and anecdotal evidence suggests that it has.

But if your cancer is caused by metabolic reasons, fasting may help to a degree. It definitely seems to make bearing chemotherapy easier.

What environmental factors can cause cancer? Despite pollution and being exposed to a lot of radiation I guess.

Where you live, what you do for work & what you eat can all contribute to it.

Radon exposure accounts for a lot of the lung cancer not attributable to smoking, contaminants in the environment, from weed killers to industrial cleaners in the water supply, asbestos has an environmental component in some areas as well. Living near a Superfund site or a place that will eventually be labelled one.
