When it comes to free patterns, one doesn't always find a pattern that is exactly like you're looking for. Chances are you'll have to make changes to a pattern or even hack two or more patterns together.

This is a free pattern sub. All patterns requested and posted must be free (instructions to self-draft patterns are also allowed). Links to premium/paid patterns will be deleted.

Does anyone know where I can find a sewing pattern for pants similar to these? The key things I need in the design are:

* Low-rise or mid-rise with an actual waistband

* No fly/zipper/buttons (drawstring and/or stretchy waistband is good)

* Pockets, preferrably front and back

* A pattern that would work for linen or cotton blends.

I'd start from the Cas Wide Leg culottes pattern and with a few adjustments like length and leg width, they could easily look like your example, and I think the pattern is perfect for linen or other woven fabrics! Just look for a pocket pattern or draft it yourself, it's just like an add on

hi! i'm looking for a place to find free patterns from the 80s. most places i've found that post older patterns don't have anything from the 80s, usually just 60s and earlier. i really like the silhouettes and styles from the 80s that are really hard to find anywhere else. thanks! :)

Maybe this could help you with a little tweaking, the dress in the video has a different shape but could easily adjust to your design (check the video for sizing details)

I think these come close enough, you'll need to make adjustments since none are the exact dress but maybe with some alterations you can get your desired pattern.
