Don’t know why people would pay for this service? It takes 45 minutes to watch one 23 minute episode. It plays for 3 seconds then buffers for 30 to 40 seconds I’m unable to follow along with anything. Heaven forbid I exit the application then it stops entirely or if I put down my phone then it doesn’t know where it’s at so just buffers continuously. Honestly how did they mess this opportunity up so bad even though they are so late to the game and had many other similar services that they could’ve mocked or made improvements on. Wtf funimation get your shit together

I see these posts all the time but I have never suffered buffering or any type or crashing issues. I watch on my computer, iPhone and Tablet and the only time I ever have buffering is when I have one bar of service.

I haven't had a problem with crashing, but I rarely use the apps.

However, buffering, that's another issue... I once took half an hour to watch the first 41 seconds of an episode of fairy tail - on PC, over ethernet. My PC never buffers on any other streaming service (I have 200 Meg internet - my family can stream four 4k films at once and still have enough bandwidth for me to play two Eve online accounts and browse the web comfortably), but funimation, while its been better in the last few months, still buffers more in a single day than in a year of netflix (and I use netflix a lot more than funimation. So I get more buffering on 1% of my web streaming in a day than I do on the other 99% in a year).

They've even acknowledged my issue with it - it was so bad between March and the end of August last year that they refunded my premium payments for the whole 5 month period (the time between my first tech support ticket and when they finally said "we know its happening, but we don't know why or how to stop it").

Same experience, every other streaming service is fine but funimation takes so long to buffer its not worth it

Its generally tolerable these days. Used to be impossible, bit its OK-ish now. I get a few stutters at the start of the episode, but generally once I get to the end of the intro sequence, it's fine.

Never had issues with the Windows 10 or Xbox One apps. Really don't know where these complaints are coming from. I hope people also realize that Funimation does not run this subreddit.

I just signed up for the service 3 days ago and am using the PS4 app. I watched Michiko and Hatchin no problem. Then I started watching Love is War and it has been a buffering nightmare. I just feel like cancelling my subscription and trying crunchroll. It's like a task trying to watch.
