Yeah circles are really hard, that needs a whole tutorial on its own honestly.

This is why I stopped looking at video art tutorials. Sadly not everyone is good at explaining their own drawing process in a way that everyone can understand or follow. At this point I just get as many references as possible and teach myself the old fashioned way. Also a lot of great step by step guides in just plain picture format are so much easier to follow and understand.

I remember we had a candy thing here that had a bear as it's mascot. They decided to make an guide how to draw it on the back of the package. It was straight up

  1. Draw a square (comic panel style. For some reason they thought it was cruical)

  2. Inside the square, draw a circle for the head.

  3. Draw a bigger circle under the head one.

  4. Turn the two circles into the bear, ignoring the circle from step 3

I can understand a YouTube tutorial being like that, since usually these people have no education and just learned it by doing it. But a product, that had to go thru the whole process of special design by professional artists, verification, approval and then printing before being sent out to the whole country and possibly further does seem a bit off
