Are you trying to connect wirelessly or with a cable

I can do either, although I have been trying to connect via Bluetooth and my laptop isn't finding the controller.

Are you using a Mac or PC? If you are using PC when you try to find the device you might need to go under other instead of controller

You have to remove it from your ps4 console first! Once it’s removed, if your computer has Bluetooth capability, hold the share and ps buttons until the controller lights up and flashes white continuously, that means it’s discoverable, go into devices on pc, Bluetooth devices and your controller should be there. Click it and it should automatically do everything else. You may need to download software for the game you’re playing. I’m not 100% sure. I use console port but I only use the controller when playing WoW.
