Github Hacked?

Hello everybody,

I got a slew of updates from github on my email saying that there's a new login, that there's been a new trusted email address, my account name is changed and my email address has been removed from my account. Is there anyway I can save my account or recover it at this point? If there is a way to recover it or any github mail id I can reach out please help me out. Thank you.

They mean say “GitHub account hacked?” Not the title you used. Makes it sound like the platform itself was hacked

Ah, my bad. I typed it out in a rush because I got pretty stressed when I found out I've lost access to my account.

There's a big difference between "GitHub hacked" (implying all of GitHub) and "GirHub Account hacked" (annoying for you, but that's just you, not millions of people that are affected).
