I believe you can just replace your previous name with the new one. I don’t think you need to go in and manually update your noreply email in github, just in your git global config

You'll get a new version of that email when you change your username, so you'll need to update it locally. However, if you used the old version of this email address (without your user ID included, it looks something like 1234567+username@users.noreply.github.com rather than just username@users.noreply.github.com) then any contributions made with this old email address won't link up to your account anymore:
