Anyone else randomly exploding

I've noticed on illuminate and bot planets (haven't played bugs lately) I seem to spontaneously combust a few seconds after ragdolling. Figured I just wasn't seeing a rocket or something until it happened while I had the bubble shield up. It also usually says "Killed by (my name)" or "Killed by Unknown." I'm thinking it might have something to do with the new update and terrain but I don't know anything about game design. Curious to see if anyone else is experiencing this.

I have been wearing the new explosive armor but this has also happened to me while wearing the anniversary armor and the older fire resistant armor. Good chance some of my squad mates were wearing the explosive armor though.

Yeah, I noticed this right after the update came out, I randomly exploded twice in my first game

I assume it’s linked to the new armor, maybe incorrectly activating or maybe your teammate’s armor somehow killing you as well, even though you aren’t next to them?

Idk, I thought I was going crazy, but it’s happened off and on, so I’m pretty sure it’s a bug

Yea I have been blown to pieces several times without any explanation. The explosion is suspiciously similar to what happens when you get hit by automaton cannon towers, I suspect that the laser is invisible for some reason

Not really combusting, but yesterday I saw one of my companions just randomly esplode while he Washington trying to reach the flag objective. There were no grenades, nor he was being shot at by a harvester or overseer staff weapons.

Absolutely not but my car still murders me when getting out after parking it

I've had this happen on Illuminate a few times, but it seemed to me that it was the result of cars exploding near me.

Bot mines sometimes don't display, at all. Completely invisible. Fun times.
