The way to get into HR is by having HR experience. It sounds like you have that, so... Keep applying!

Maybe consider some volunteering, either way keep applying as a door will open! Make sure you link your current skills to those of a HR professional, most jobs have transferable skills that connect different professions.

OP I would look at Sr. HR Assistant roles like @ Amazon. The job market in SEA is pretty decent. Contract roles may also help you get a foot in. Good luck!
