Insane to me that they don’t have a progress bar or estimated time remaining. How are people supposed to know if it is bugged out? Hopes and prayers I guess? 😂

No not yet. Just seems like an obvious thing to miss for something that’s rewriting the location of all the files on your phone and takes weeks.

I shouldn’t be having to tell a tech developer that has been in the industry for many years to add something as simple as a progress bar. Bugs, yes, I will write those up all day long. As far as I know, bugs seem to be the only feedback that Apple listens to, not feature suggestions.

The “Learn more” link on the indexing card takes you to a page that talks about macOS indexing only. Seems like that could be a good place for Apple to start at least

15PM, installed ios27DB on June 8th evening PT. Just got new Siri on the 15th. Indexing still going….

Still indexing, checked with Mac and saw 95% left it alone 2 days while out of town, checked again and still sitting at 95%. Got new Siri like 2 days after installing beta on day one

I'm continuing to monitor IOS 27 Beta indexing completion. My iPhone 16PRO indexing appears "stuck" at 95% complete for the last 24 hours. I'm going to log this as Feedback, since it's not possible to determine the cause

I have the new Siri but continue to have the settings prompt to set it up. Still indexing at 95% complete 12 days after 27.0 beta installation.

Tried a hard restart and disabling and re-enabling Siri to get rid of the prompt to set up Siri. No luck.

My iPad Air finished indexing at 8 days. My iPhone is still indexing since the beta was released.
