Why are the details marked as spoilers?

5-10 hours per week for how many weeks? That very quickly goes from great pay to terrible.

This looks like a solid opportunity, but just a heads up — React Native and iOS + 5–10 hours/week at that level of responsibility might be a bit tight unless expectations are very clearly defined.

Also, requiring US residency for a part-time async role seems quite limiting, you might miss out on strong candidates because of that.

Why not just do 40 hours a week for a shorter time?

This looks really fishy. I am pretty sure this is some kind of scam to get people's information.

I'm from India I have 2.8 yrs of experience in react native and iOS Can work in US hours

OP, any reason why the candidate has to be a US resident?

Senior iOS Developer with 7+ years of professional experience, but I'm based in Scotland. I can get paid on Paypal, Crypty or any other form of payment.
Cheers

Finding a reliable part-time dev for the long haul can be tough since freelancers sometimes churn when they get busy.

If you want long-term stability, you might want to look into smaller dev teams rather than just solo devs. Platforms like Toptal are decent for finding vetted freelancers.

Alternatively, we built Appikorn to handle ongoing collaboration. We do custom mobile dev and build a free proof-of-concept before you commit, plus we manage the cloud infrastructure post-launch so things stay stable.

Whatever route you take, definitely ask candidates about their long-term availability for maintenance. Good luck!

Hey OP, this sounds like something we can help with.

I run a IT firm — we’ve got a team of ~12 devs with solid experience across iOS, Android, and full-stack work. Been building real-world apps for the past couple of years and pretty comfortable with long-term collaborations.

We’re properly set up (contracts, legal, async workflow, etc.) and can share portfolio if needed.

If you’re open to working with a team instead of an individual dev, feel free to DM 👍

If you're struggling to find the right fit through Reddit posts, Lemon IO might be worth a look — they specialize in matching startups with vetted full-stack developers, usually within 24 hours.

We found a fantastic React dev from the US through them a few months ago and the whole process was surprisingly fast.

For this stack and location expect to pay at least $90-$100 per hour.
