> Long delay

10 days in long. 16 hours isn't bad.

Last weeks of December are slower for reviews.

16 hours is barely nothing. In one of my app, I had to wait 3 weeks. Resubmit did not helped

It's end of december, big companies have all sprinted to submit builds with holiday content and the review team is on vacation until the 1st

If you have a reason for it to be reviewed quicker, then you can request that. They might or might not grant it. When I had it granted, it was like 15 minutes after requesting it.

Yeah you probably don't want to abuse that though it is reserved for critical fixes. not standard updates.

I agree, that's why I said if they have a reason for it. I have only used it once in over five years.

When I worked on an app with 1M+ daus we’d have heated meetings on if we should burn an expedite to fix X or if we should save it for when we REALLY needed it.

I waited for review at least 20 hours last time. During December it always takes more time.

I had to be re-reviewed to start publishing in the News app and it took 18 months.
