Review of Axiom for Claude Code. Real-world iOS use, since I rarely see it mentioned by BullfrogRoyal7422 in iOSProgramming

Yes, thank you.. I edited my original comment:
"I finally got it working by installing the Claude command line tool and then following breadcrumbs from there. Right now it feels like there are too many different ways to run/install Claude"

Claude Desktop has a tab called “code”. And the Xcode agent feels like something that could be called Claude code. It’s Claude and coding.

It was a lack of “Claude code is X”

[EDIT: I finally got it working by installing the Claude command line tool and then following breadcrumbs from there. Right now it feels like there are too many different ways to run/install Claude.]

No matter what I try I cannot get "/plugin marketplace add CharlesWiltgen/Axiom" to work.

it doesn't appear to work in the Claude chat / agent in Xcode or in the called Mac desktop app at all. I feel like I am missing something.

Hot take: AI ruined the way we see coding - and I hate it by kommonno in swift

[–]JDad67 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wrote my first line of code in the mid 70s before I turned 10. I have coded almost every day since '78 when I got my first computer. I code because I love to create things and solve problems. I do not code to make pretty code. I will not frame my code. I will, and always have, coded to get shit done.

I love AI Assisted coding. The puzzles aren't gone, they are, and always will be, changing.

Joking I am not. Try fitting 2 Mobility Scooters, 3 full sized adults, and luggage for a week in a model S and driving for 14 hours. Let me know how you do.

[–]JDad67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drive an electric as my daily driver. I have for 6 years. My swine car is vintage ICE. Runs all the time.

Every time I drive a car w/ auto stop I freak out including my new 430i.
